The Studios at Burnt Canoe
The Studios at Burnt Canoe provide a private workspace for artists and creatives, small businesses, remote workers, hobbyists and more. Our studios are a place to allow yourself to flourish creatively, to have a dedicated space to focus on work, and to network with other professionals. Burnt Canoe Studio is a community of makers, thinkers, dreamers and doers.
The second floor of Burnt Canoe boasts eight unique, private studios: Banks, Bernadotte, St. Patrick, Olympia, Murat, Alexander, Hennessey, and Solomon. Cost of lease includes all bills paid including Wi-Fi. The studios are filled with natural light, original flooring and access to large sinks. All studios are well insulated and have AC and heat. We have three studio spaces available with adjoining doors allowing for double the space if needed. Just to clarify: these can be single studios (Bernadotte, St. Patrick, Olympia, Murat, Alexander and Hennessey) or three larger (Bernadotte with St. Patrick , Olympia with Murat, Alexander with Hennessey). St. Patrick has a private kitchenette and bathroom with a shower. There are indoor communal spaces, a kitchen, bathrooms with a shower, coin operated laundry, as well as an outdoor courtyard with seating.
As a tenant, you will have 24 hour access to your studio and the community spaces. While this low-traffic, dead-end section of Banks street has ample parking, we do have a driveway available for loading as well as a building security system in place and locking doors on your personal studio.
We understand that with a variety of mediums and uses for the space come a variety of needs. While our main goal is to provide you with a blank canvas, we are willing to discuss “building to suit” so that your space is what you need it to be.
Our in house wood shop offers a discount on framing and laser cutting and engraving services to all tenants.
